Upcoming Den Hollinden releases
New single / album on the way!
Den is busily working on new music. Both a new single as well as an unrelated album are in various stages of completion and will soon be available for purchase. The single is a new song called "Bubba Needs a President" that will be available on iTunes and other leading music download sources. That song has already been recorded and is awaiting artwork. The album is a collection of Christmas songs--both traditional and Denuine originals. Christmas in the 812 is scheduled for a Christmas 2009 release. (812 is the area code for the part of southern Indiana Den grew up.) The album will include past Hollinden holiday hits likes "St. Henry Christmas" as well as what is hoped will be new hits like "WBDCin' You". In addition to the same iTunes+ distribution for "Bubba...", Christmas in the 812 will also be released as a physical CD.

"Blacksburg": Den Hollinden's Wammie-nominated single
Den Hollinden's Virginia Tech tribute "Blacksburg" is Wammie nominated.
"Blacksburg" was nominated for a 23rd Wammie Award by the Washington Area Music Association (WAMA) in the best country recording category. Congratulations to all the nominees and a heart-felt thank you to WAMA for supporting Den Hollinden music in this unique way.
